Choosing a USB-C Cable for Everyday Use
3 min read · 21 October 2026

A cable is a small thing, but it is something you use constantly. Keeping a spare at your desk, bedside table or in your bag can make everyday charging much easier.
Check the ends first
ChargeUp Co. cables have USB-C at both ends. They suit devices with a USB-C port, such as many Android phones, iPhone 15 and newer, USB-C iPads and USB-C MacBooks. They are not suitable for older iPhones with a Lightning port.
Think about length
Our cables are 1 metre long. That is a practical everyday length for a desk, bedside table or power bank. If you need to reach across a large room, a longer cable may be a better choice.
A cable is not a wall plug
It is easy to mix these up. The cable connects your device to a compatible USB-C wall plug, laptop or power bank. The wall plug itself is not included.
