Which USB-C Cable Do I Need for iPhone 15, 16 and 17?

If you have an iPhone 15, iPhone 16 or iPhone 17, the port on the bottom of the phone is USB-C. A USB-C-to-USB-C charging cable is the right shape for connecting it to a compatible USB-C wall plug, computer or power bank.

What to look for

Check that both ends of the cable are USB-C. ChargeUp Co. cables are USB-C at both ends, 1 metre long and support charging up to 60W. The cable does not include a wall plug.

Will it make an iPhone charge faster?

The cable can carry up to 60W, but the phone and the compatible power source decide the actual speed. A cable cannot make a power source deliver more power than it supports. Apple says iPhone 15 and later models can use a USB-C cable with a compatible USB-C power adapter, and a 20W or higher USB-C adapter can be used for faster charging.

What about older iPhones?

Older iPhones use a Lightning port. A USB-C-to-USB-C cable will not plug into them. If your phone has the smaller Lightning shape, you need a different cable.
